| The Ministry of Education recognizes and values the work that is ongoing in school boards across Ontario to support the implementation of professional activity (PA) days. This website provides an opportunity for the sharing of these effective practices and differentiated approaches which have been found by school boards to be useful when planning and implementing professional development through PA days. The information does not, however, represent any official position of, or statement by, the Ministry of Education, nor does it attempt to set out definitive practices. It is understood that each board has their own unique circumstances; therefore the resources provided may be adapted to best suit the needs of the user. In providing these resources, each contributor has consented to the sharing and/or modifications of the resources.
Also found on this website are some resources developed by the Ministry of Education to support professional activity focussed on special education.
